Burrton K Elementary School has a special integrated Kindergarton thru 2nd Grade program that is amazing. I highly reccommend it for anyone. After third grade, however, their standards fall off. The school has dropped quite a bit in enrollment going from 18 per class down to 10. Sports has significantly declined with no winning sports teams in a quite a dew years. Facilities are much older than other buildings. Consolidating with Halstead is a much better option so kids can have sports activities and can contribute to a team. The kids are the ones suffering. Halstead has allowed Bentley to keep a grade school. Haven has closed everything minus Haven grade.
