We have been welcomed and embraced. The staff is excellent. The school is kept very clean. The art and music program is amazing. I am thoroughly impressed with everything at Washington Woods.

Posted by a parent on 4/2/2014Washington Woods is excellent. I have had all three of my kids attend this school and I give this school nothing but the highest in ratings. The remark about the test scores is totally inaccurate. The ISTEP scores for 2013 so far are that 95% of the 4th graders passed the Mathmatics portion and 91%

Some teachers are good and trying hard to succeed but many are just awful, unexperienced, incompetent, and don’t care about special needs students. The principal is supportive of exclusions, isolations, segregations of special needs students and just wants to hide them away from the rest of the school. Because everyone is so devoted to education - the kids learn and love learning. Even the science fair was fun! I had never heard of Montessori learning until we took our daughter there - and now I wish I could have had those opportunities as a child!
