A teacher that works at this school touches students and gets too close to them, while being inappropriate towards them. Instead of the school filing a real report, they let the teacher “apologize” to the student (alone) and continued to allow the teacher to teach the student and no follow ups on the students mental health that was affected by said teacher. (The teacher still works here today)

This school has made some much needed improvements. With the addition of the new principal Mrs.Fifer, I have noticed many new changes at DMS. Very happy about this because prior to her arrival we considered leaving this school district. Amelia Swander, a guidance counselor has been amazing and without her help our son may have fallen flat on his face. There are a few exceptional staff who honestly put themselves aside and that is what has made a difference---> Finally! Way to go DMS, things are looking up.
