Warsaw Community High School

Warsaw Community Schools provide a great opportunity for local students to pursue their academic interests. From STEM, dual credit AP courses, career center options, providing dual language schools to incredible technology, it's a great opportunity with what seems to be endless options. The staff is second to none and definitely has the best interest of the students. We are fortunate to have two WCS graduates and another one to be added in 2025.

I attended Warsaw Community Schools from K-12 and now I have two children who attend WCS. It has been really neat to see how the school system has improved in the last 25 years. I really appreciate the passion the leadership within our school system has and truly feel they have the best intentions for our community. My oldest child will be graduating this year and has chosen the Nursing pathway. She will graduate as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant and will have 12.5 dual credit hours that will transfer to college. There is an opportunity for every type of student at WCS. There are major improvements being made at the Warsaw Area Career Center (WACC) for cosmetology, automotive, welding and preparing students who would like to enter the orthopaedic industry. I have also had to reach out to principals at the elementary, middle school and high school levels for assistance and they always addressed my concerns in a timely manner. I highly recommend WCS.

I am continually impressed with the strategic vision of the administration and the dedication and commitment shown by the faculty across the WCS system. Initially, one might be concerned by the size of the school and believe students would not be engaged in a manner that would lead to success. However, it's been my experience that is not the case at all. In fact, the size of the school is likely an advantage in many ways because of the breadth of offering the students and their families are afforded. I have personally witnessed many success stories and I'm grateful for all WCS offers for the families and communities it serves.

All four of our kids have been or continue to be enrolled in Warsaw Community Schools with two of them currently at Warsaw Community High School. From Leesburg, Eisenhower, and Claypool Elementary on to Edgewood and WCHS, my family has been proud to say they are Warsaw Tigers. Though I know there is not a perfect school that exists where more than 2 people attend, I will say that my wife, a WCH alumni, and I are very proud of the education our kids receive here in this beautiful community. and as a former West Noble Charger myself, I can still say Go Tigers!

The school offers lot of great options to cater to the needs of students. The courses in advance manufacturing such as welding, machining prepares students to be employable right after high school. Similarly, kids with interest in science and medicine can get into Project Lead the Way (PLTW), nursing, biology courses. Students can graduate with degrees in cosmetology, culinary art and many other pathways. The athletic department is excellent in football, basketball, softball and many other sports. There are many great teachers in the school.
