Central Elementary School

All in all there was one good teacher there, Mrs. Shoppa. If I had it to do over again I would have pulled them all from this school sooner. My son is finally back up to normal reading level and comprehension after loosing a whole year of school due to a terrible teacher. I asked several times for him to be moved out of that class and Mrs. Doty waited till May to finally change his class- by then school was almost over and it wasn't long enough to make a difference. If I lived over there I would home school my kids. From what I hear a lot of parents are pulling their kids from this school. Good on them for looking out!

I am a parent of a PCS graduate, I currently have a child enrolled, and I also volunteer as a coach. This school is on the rise, great things are happening, and it is an excellent Christian learning environment.

Do not send your children there. Administration is horrible along with some of the teachers. The teachers that were great and cares for the students are not longer there. That says a lot. They don’t care about student development just about their accreditation and scores to get funding. My child was talked down to and ridiculed. They like to teach Christian values but not follow them. Do some research into the church and you will see.
