Heritage Jr/Sr High School

When my oldest child (now 19 years old) was getting ready to enter kindergarten we weren't sure we could afford SJE for all 4 of our children. We went and looked at the local public school. While we were there, I saw class sizes of 25 to 30 students getting yelled at to be quite while standing in line in the hallway. Right then and there I decided that I didn't want my children in a class of that size. The School Choice Voucher program started the next year. SJE is very affordable for all families to attend as all families can now receive the School Choice Voucher. Almost all of the tuition is paid for by the voucher! The class sizes are small. My children, in middle school, get to sit down and have a 1 on 1 conference with the english teacher reviewing their research papers. How many other schools have teachers who have time to do this? The teachers truly care about the students learning and overall well being! The prinicpal and office staff are wonderful and can answer any questions I have! They are always upbeat and happy to help! My children, who are in or have already graduated high school, have been ahead of their other classmates that did not go to SJE. They take the honors, dual credit, and AP classes at Heritage High School. The teachers can tell that they went to SJE. I highly recommend St. John-Emmanuel Lutheran School!
