Elsie Rogers is the best kept secret in the area. After touring all the northern PHM Elementary Schools, I chose this one based on the teacher/student ratio. The principal Christi Campbell has been amazing for the school. The teachers and staff are warm and well trained. Very strong parent network as well. My daughter is in all honors classes now at Schmucker and my son is still at Elsie Rogers. He has struggles with reading and gets the help he needs right at the school.

As a parent of a student who attends Beiger Elementary School, I am delighted to share our experiences and the positive impact this school has had on our family. From the very first day, we were welcomed into a warm, nurturing community that values each child's individual growth and development. The teachers and staff are incredibly dedicated, creating an inclusive environment where every student feels seen and supported. This has made a significant difference in my child's enthusiasm for learning and overall well-being.The sense of community at Beiger Elementary is truly remarkable. Parents, teachers, and students work together to foster a collaborative and supportive atmosphere. There are numerous opportunities for parental involvement, from volunteering in the classroom to participating in school events and committees. This level of engagement helps build strong relationships and a sense of belonging for both students and their families. It's heartening to know that we are part of a community that prioritizes the well-being and success of every child.From my child's perspective, the classroom experience at Beiger Elementary is both stimulating and enjoyable. The teachers employ a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles, ensuring that each student can thrive. My child often comes home excited to share what they have learned, whether it's a new science experiment, a creative art project, or a book they can't put down. The emphasis on fostering curiosity and a love of learning has been invaluable. Additionally, the school places a strong emphasis on social-emotional learning, helping students develop important life skills like empathy, cooperation, and resilience. Overall, Beiger Elementary has provided a nurturing and enriching environment that has helped my child grow academically and personally.

This school I’m sure is wonderful for any families that have no problems and their children are perfect in every way. My grandson attended there for a year in kindergarten. They strongly talked my daughter and her husband into putting their son into the Spanish immersion class. Due to his adhd diagnosis this was not working. He was stressed out to the max and began to act out. There was no support from the school. Only almost daily trips to sit in the principle’s office. They had no compassion for a family struggling. The teacher wanted to keep him in her class to repeat and the principle was rude in her comments that they have never had a student graduate at age 19. Which, at the time, I thought a strange comment because they did not even have high school grades. My husband and I gave as much as we could at the time for their new building project to expand. The special programs for parents and grandparents seemed chaotic and not very well planned.

2nd grader (straight A student, academically sound, well-rounded happy kid) experienced unwarranted microagressive and immature behavior from teacher & leadership while at this school. Also toward our family. Teachers are not held accountable for incompetencies. Not inclusive toward minorities primarily brown children. Leadership does not like to be questioned; and advocates for teachers before the student. Leadership solution is verbally telling the family to find another school. Quickly uprooted our child from this uneasy atmosphere.
