We loved our school experience here! Our son enjoyed the teachers and administrators and all of the HARD WORK that they did for the kids….. especially through Covid. But this entire school district was already ready for a lockdown… They had already been sending laptops and iPads home with the kids… We were ahead of most schools we knew in other areas!!Again, the staff has always gone above and beyond to help children feel accepted and wanted in a place that takes their curriculum seriously.

I am currently a sophomore at this sad excuse for an educational facility. I have been in the Lowell school district for my entire life, and ever since I got into high school, everything became statistical, not about actually learning. No matter how often the facilitators say they care about the students and their well being, that is a huge white lie. They don't care about us. They just care about having a successful school. There are only a few teachers who actually care about us, and most of them are treated like absolute garbage by the school district; on the verge of being fired due to the fact they don't conform to the 'New-Tech' standards. I have gone to the guidance department countless times due to bullying/harassment in classes, only to have all of it blamed on myself. I attempted to take it to the principal, only to have it dismissed, yet again. Might I word it differently, this school cares more about statistics than the students safety. On December 15, there were three, legitimate threats to this school. Yes, the police were involved. The 'heads' of the school knew about this days in advance, but took no precautionary measures until the DAY OF. We were placed on lockdown the second we got into our first hour class, but the school continued to let students and other people in and out, DURING the lockdown. There is no excuse for that. They put us at risk, and lied to the media, our parents, and us, saying the threat was false, when really there were two indoor threats and one outdoor threat. If you want your children to get a quality education, I suggest you run FAR away from Lowell, and if you are a student currently entering the high school, or are a student here, my condolences.

The Administration lacks any kind of common sense and really do not care about the students just about their statistics. They offer no vocational classes such as welding, metal or wood shops, etc. The students grades mostly consist of participation instead of work performed. I would not recommend anyone to send their children to this school system
