Alexander Hamilton Elementary School

My daughter graduated from Charter School of the Dunes in 8th grade. Though her experience wasn't very long, in the year she was there, she had a wonderful experience. She enjoyed her teachers, made new friends, her grades and behavior was great where she was noticed for them and received an invite to the Honor Society. Graduated with honors. What I love about this school is how they communicate with you, they are involved with the students and parents. I would recommend them.

The principle seemed nice but only sat down or talked to her one time and that was when they said my son would be repeated. I had thought I had good communication with his teacher should would always respond to my email very quickly ! Although she did not listen . He struggled in the begging but towards the end was catching on but yet said he would be repeated then all his homework came back marked correct but answers were wrong ! Oh and my son never had bad behavior and the teacher lied infront of the principle saying my son likes to copy and she has been telling me all year and never not once did I hear not read before that very moment ! !!!They gave up the second she said she thought he was not ready fist grade. My son never did preschool and was reading at A-B level they want him at a D??? I saw what the first hand what the first graders were doing this year and I believe he would do fine. They told me there was no way around this ! My kid will get a new teacher the 2nd time around bc the one we had treated him like a baby and was very unorganized in everything I witness. Hopefully next year goes better since I will have to deal with them again a couple of years for my younger one ! Do research ob your teacher you will be shocked !

I would just like to say that the school has and is trying to bully my child who is autistic out of the school who is in kindergarten at this school in 5 months the teachers are not patient at all w children with disability they are angry the principle and staff have smiles on they face to treat you but they are not happy people with children with special needs they have suspended my son and have tried to kick my son out of the school and bank the mom who is single parent the bus drivers almost hit my car couple times and the parking lot terrible when parents leaf rout in front of the building they have negative image of a child every day something bad he gets kicked out of school every day for 5 months how can he learn anything ?? What is the reason they use the word dangerous to child who has a dist or any child they call them dangerous and can not explain why they are dangerous running around is not dangerous they also wanna try and restrain autistic children force the parent with a crisis plan to restrain a a child and they call the police ok your child at this school they use the police on kindergarten kids I'm inoperste way :) how dad terrible yeah I think we done here now I had been done w this bully adults teacher a this school needs help lots of it principle gotta go teacher need qulifatiins and patients not prepared at all

I am a parent of a PCS graduate, I currently have a child enrolled, and I also volunteer as a coach. This school is on the rise, great things are happening, and it is an excellent Christian learning environment.

St Bridget was once a Prek-8 school but do to funding they had to close down the k-8 program. However! They still have pre-school for ages 3-5. Both my son & daughter have attended the pre-school for 2 years each. I chose St Bridget simply because of the small classroom size, 3 dedicated teachers who spend alot of 1 on 1 time with each child and finally because they are one of the only schools in town that offer fullday pre-school. They even have a morning care program that starts at 7am and an after-school program that runs until 5pm. My children would not be the dynacmic learners they are today, if it wasn't for Ms. Miller, Mrs. Anztack, and Mrs. Moreno. If you are looking to take your pre-preschoolers educations to another level and ensure that they do not have any obstacles entering elementary school, then I would tell you, your only option is St Bridget. Because they can accomplish everything your child needs.
