Maple Crest Elementary School

I have three children who attend Taylor Schools. This past fall, I had a daughter at the Primary Building, a daughter at the Intermediate Building and a son at the Middle School. Our son has Asperger's (in the Autism spectrum) and he receives WONDERFUL care and help from the teachers! This has been true all the way from Kindergarten. My daughters have both scored a Pass + on the Iread test and have had no trouble passing the ISTEP tests. I think the smaller schools do a better job of paying specific attention to the children and I think Taylor has some wonderful teachers.

My granddaughter goes here she loves it they have taught her alot with her reading, and she is great in math

Horrible administration that does not support staff. Forces teachers to resign and lies on their performance evaluation. Stay away from this school. Principal Mable is the worse Principal ive ever met. She is dishonest and forces her teachers to work late and not be paid for it.

Sycamore is a wonderful school! The staff are always friendly. The teachers have been great. They really pay attention to the kids struggles and talents and make adjustments where needed.

This school has been amazing for my son. He has learned so much and gets to do everything at his own pace. He loves letters and numbers, so he gets to spend most of his time doing that, but when he is ready to try something else, the staff is right there to support him. I love everything about this place.

I am amazed at the level in which my granddaughter is learning. And the compassion of the whole staff in caring for the children.

Amazing school! Preschool teachers are second to none! My son adores them both. Smaller classes ensure everyone gets the attention they deserve. Principal knows all parents by name which is amazing. Cannot say enough great things about this school.
