My child was unable to write and didn't know many of her letters. She can now write her name and is able to show me upper and lower case letters. She is only in the third month of being in their pre-school program. They let me know about her behavior and strengths. They seem to have a vested interest in my daughter and take care. I have seen that they take care to know me and my child.

Horrible administration that does not support staff. Forces teachers to resign and lies on their performance evaluation. Stay away from this school. Principal Mable is the worse Principal ive ever met. She is dishonest and forces her teachers to work late and not be paid for it.

I am deeply disappointed both as an employee and as a parent of a child attending this school. Instead of addressing my child’s behavioral challenges through appropriate testing and support, the school has chosen to refuse necessary evaluations and exclude him from the classroom. No kindergartener deserves to receive in-school or out-of-school suspension as a first response.It is also concerning that general education teachers who are still in transition to full certification are being placed in charge of classrooms with little to no experience, often resulting in students who need extra support being overlooked. Unfortunately, the principal’s approach has been equally discouraging rather than collaborating with families to find solutions, she seems to rely on half-day schedules or removal from school as a means to manage behavioral issues.Our children deserve educators and leaders who are committed to understanding and meeting their individual needs, not simply pushing them aside.

Sycamore is a wonderful school! The staff are always friendly. The teachers have been great. They really pay attention to the kids struggles and talents and make adjustments where needed.

This school has been amazing for my son. He has learned so much and gets to do everything at his own pace. He loves letters and numbers, so he gets to spend most of his time doing that, but when he is ready to try something else, the staff is right there to support him. I love everything about this place.
