Riverside Elementary School

My daughter went to Northaven Elementary School in 2010, 2011. I wasn’t impressed, Now 2022 my granddaughter goes. Wow! Wow! Wow! The diversity, the focus on everyone learning. The ability to meet and teach my granddaughter. On her level, without dimming her down. I love this school. I love the direction the school is going in.

Amazing school! best environment for any age kid. Teachers and staff are always respectful and well treated!

The preschool program is fantastic! My son love of school blossomed. He learned a lot of stuff and he can not wait to start kindergarten.

I am writing this review in response to a few recent comments that appear to reflect a limited or incomplete understanding of the school. As a parent of two children currently enrolled at Chance, we benefit from a scholarship for our older child, who qualifies for financial assistance. Both of my children began in Chance’s highly regarded early childhood program, which served as an excellent Pre-K/Junior Kindergarten experience, and have progressed through the school since then.As a neurodivergent parent raising (most likely) neurodivergent children, I have been particularly impressed by the expertise and attentiveness of Chance’s highly qualified teachers. They consistently demonstrate keen observation of each child’s unique needs and provide thoughtful, individualized guidance throughout their educational journey.We deeply appreciate the school’s strong emphasis on developing children’s emotional intelligence and self-regulation skills—areas that are foundational to long-term success and well-being. Additionally, the generous amount of daily outdoor time, set amidst the school’s beautiful and well-maintained grounds, is a highlight for our family.It is evident that financial resources are prioritized thoughtfully: first toward attracting and retaining exceptional staff, then toward maintaining the campus, and finally toward the robust scholarship program that makes this education accessible to more families. This balanced approach reflects the school’s core values and commitment to both excellence and inclusivity.We are grateful to be part of the Chance community and wholeheartedly recommend it to families seeking a nurturing, insightful, and developmentally rich educational environment.
