Lincoln Middle School

My daughter goes there and son is going to start this year. Teachers in that school are amazing and go above and beyond to get their students where they need to be. I am grateful!

Not good! The staff in the office is very rude. The school isnt very diverse. School needs to make students and parents feel more welcome and comfortable.

Be very mindful before sending your child to this school, namely, if they are African-American or of African descent. The children at this school are very rude, discriminatory and bully children that do not look like them. I know firsthand that the principal and the social workers do not take any of these matters seriously. They cater to and are more concerned about the largest demographic of students that attend this school. So if you need to send your child to this school and they are African-American or African descent, please ask your child every day, how was their day and don’t settle for “it was good.” Get details.

We have had two children here and have experienced pre-K through 8th grade. It does employ a very student-led approach to learning, which has worked well for my kids. Pre-COVID, they often took field trips and do a nice job of balancing academics with physical activity and project learning. The older of the two transitioned well to a rigorous academic high school and has a >4.0 GPA as a junior, so the relatively free-form approach certainly didn't impact her success negatively. We've had a great experience there!
