Posted by a parent on 2/24/2017I first heard about Holy Angels from a co-worker. I was hesitant to enroll my daughter because we are not Catholic. However, I enrolled her and have been pleased with everything about the school. The staff are so friendly and helpful and they make you feel apart of a family. I love the smaller class
Posted by a parent on 2/23/2017Not only is this school been a staple in their community for many years, it has helped teach our young black children self respect and that they are someone worth fighting for. The school has two goals for every student: College and Heaven... can't get much better than that!!!!!

Since it is such a small community, it feels more like a family than a school, which is pretty unique in this day and age of schools with up to 5,000 kids crammed into one building.God bless Holy Angels!

Not only are scholars provided a rigorous education the expectation of success is also present. The staff at PLA 48 are caring and are willing to address any concerns. My scholar is in Kindergarten and started later in the year after arriving from Nigeria!. I must say her teacher went above and beyond to welcome her. She was so excited to share that her teacher had shown Akili and me a very popular preschool program in Nigeria. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a current 8th Grade student in this school, I love it. The style of schooling might not be for everyone but I really enjoy it. I've been here since kindergarten and loved everything from elementary to middle school. I'm mostly leaving this review as I've noticed some very negative reviews from years back when middle school was just developing. Now though the middle school is great with tons of amazing teachers. Their kindness, patience, encouragement, and genuine love for their students made Pre-K such a special and memorable year.Not only has our daughter grown academically, but we’ve also watched her confidence, independence, and manners blossom throughout the year. She comes home excited to learn, eager to share new skills, and has developed such a thoughtful and respectful way of interacting with others, all thanks to the nurturing environment these amazing teachers created.It’s truly heartbreaking to reach the end of the school year because of how wonderful they’ve been, but we’re also so excited to continue our journey into Junior Kindergarten.
