Center Grove High School

This school only cares about athletic students if your parents or whatever went here when they were younger you're in. They have a complete bubble within themselves that they feel they can't include anyone else because they're either so rich they want to step on others, raised here their entire life or they're super athletic and can get away with anything. The school is so biased and honestly as a person of color I would say go to a different school the racist looks and words I've heard from these people. Plus I'm an early college student they act as if I don't deserve to be in Early College and the students are so rude. Some are nice but others think they're above it all. The front desk lady was very mean to me multiple times on the phone it got to a point where my mother had to take the phone because this woman started raising her voice at me. The school is filled with some upper-middle-class kids who think they are so much better than the real world when most of them only go to school, sports, the mall, and chick fila.

This school definitely prepared my child for college but I saw way too many cases of non athletes. Being treated unfairly and treated as second class citizens.I have also seen children of coaches and teachers get away with anything at this school i.e. bullying, smoking jewels, blatant disrespect, etc... but nothing is done b/c daddybis a coach...

We didnt grow up in Greenwood. We relocated here because we wanted a good school in a less populated part of Indianapolis. On paper you'd think you're moving to one of the best school systems in Indiana. We were severely disappointed in the decision to relocate to Center Grove. If we could do it all over again we would have put our kids in Greenwood Community Schools. In summary:*Almost no diversity*Poor planning*Lots of elementary redistricting*Bullying from administration, teachers, parents, and students. There are a lot of inappropriate things that get "swept under the rug".*A major clique of locals who grew up here and are now raising their kids here.*Overpopulated schools. Kids falling through the cracks often due to large class sizes. *If your child is a football star, send them here. You will love it. Otherwise, you should really consider Greenwood Community Schools. Its the real hidden gem of the southside. I only wish we realized this before it was too late to change.*School forcing kids to use IPads, but their IT dept cannot even control them. The kids end up installing VPN apps to just play video games all day. Teachers constantly have told me they cannot control it at all and its just as frustrating for them as it is the parents.

Im a freshman at cg and Ive been harrassed, verbaly and physicaly assulted, and the school doesnt do ANYTHTING about it. Only the rich kids get help the rest of us they dont care about

Overall, meh, but it sucks, i wish it would just not be so judgemental.
