Posted by a parent on 9/9/2025Parkside is a good school. My three kids have been there and we had a wonderful experience. The principal, counselor and teachers really care about education. They really have good resources to help the children to be successful. I love ambassadors team. Is a unique experience and help the children

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went to Prairie View from 2008 - 2014. I loved going to PV. I was involved in many after school programs there. For the most part, we as students felt emotionally safe, though some teachers (who no longer work there) were not the most understanding. Students were all very close to each other, even between classrooms. Even the office ladies knew everyone's name. The biggest issue I had was bullying. Both my younger sister and I were bullied by our peers. The counselor and teachers would talk to the bully and tell them to stop, but the bullies kept bullying.
