Posted by a community member on 12/11/2017I was very excited to send our son to Haverhill for Kindergarten, However, I have had one to many issues with staff lacking communication (when it is important) to parents and poor decision making with monitors and instructional assistants. Principal is lacking leadership and organization as well.

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAbsolutely terrible. We specifically moved to this school district. I've found out that multiple teachers have left Aboite (and pulled their children) due to this particular principal and her rigid, strict, and uncompromising protocols that leave children feeling isolated, and not good enough. If you are wanting to have open lines of communication and behavioral plans that set children up with success, along with teaching them how to work with peers they have differences with, this is NOT the school to go to. Also, there does seem to be an awful lot of children here bullying others despite their rigid and isolating negative reinforcement policies. I chose Emmaus for its location, academic reputation, warmth and caring nature of the administration and teachers. With COVID-19, they have gone above and beyond for their students.
