Posted by a parent on 3/1/2022The teachers and staff at Deer Ridge taught me to try my best. They taught me all about teamwork and being creative. They try to make learning fun and try to make us laugh. They are the best teachers who really care about kids. I miss being at Deer Ridge.

The school advocates the no tolerance for bullying yet does little or nothing about it when it is brought to their attention. Unless there is evidence caught

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAbsolutely terrible. We specifically moved to this school district. I've found out that multiple teachers have left Aboite (and pulled their children) due to this particular principal and her rigid, strict, and uncompromising protocols that leave children feeling isolated, and not good enough. If you are wanting to have open lines of communication and behavioral plans that set children up with success, along with teaching them how to work with peers they have differences with, this is NOT the school to go to. Also, there does seem to be an awful lot of children here bullying others despite their rigid and isolating negative reinforcement policies. I chose Emmaus for its location, academic reputation, warmth and caring nature of the administration and teachers. With COVID-19, they have gone above and beyond for their students.
