The teachers are underpaid and it shows. I had to pull my children from this place. The meetings I had with the "principal" proved she is horribly rude and itching to move up the ladder. The parking lot is a mess and the school smells off.

I had to pull my kid out of this place. Awful staff, no guidance, you can really tell that no one at this school cares.

I agree they do think your young child mine is 5 and they should act like adults. Its like there is no organization in that school.

Dillsboro Elementary School was honored as a 4-Star School for the 2010-2011 school year by the Indiana Department of Education. Dillsboro was the only school in Dearborn County to receive this honor. Along with Manchester Elementary School in 2007, also a member of the South Dearborn School system, the only two schools to receive this award since conception of 4-Star School Award. In 2006 Dillsboro was selected as one of the top fourteen schools in the state of Indiana and received the National Blue Ribbon School Award. Historically, Dillsboro School has been regarded as an excellent place to have your child attend.
