Such a great school. The support system is top notch.

My son is thriving at this school. He has learned so much and I really appreciate the focus on instruction and social emotional skills that this school teaches. We are so glad we moved into Carmel Schools.

2 kids went through WCE. Excellent experience with almost all teachers. Great principal. Did a great job of keeping special needs students in same classrooms as "regular" students which is great for general student compassion and understanding. Also, had "high ability" classrooms to keep higher-performing students engaged and learning at their pace.

My two daughters are currently enrolled at Union. Top to bottom, we are very happy with the school. The teachers and principals deeply care about the students. The teachers are qualified, communicative and hard working. The communication from the school to parents is unmatched, perhaps overboard if there is such a thing. We moved to this district from California and the funding, resources, level of attention and quality of education is 10x what the public schools in California have to offer. Even during this pandemic year, Union has been open for full time, in class learning. I am very grateful that my children were able to stay up with their studies and continue their development, unlike most of the country with an entire year lost to virtual learning. Perhaps the only negative is a lack of diversity.

So happy with this school. Lots of interesting and reasonably priced extracurricular a available including languages. Great outdoor space for recess. Community involvement is off the charts and the PTO us a fundraising powerhouse.

Top teachers who really care about their students. The teachers do not treat their students as numbers but truly take time to make sure they understand what is being taught! Clay Centers' Resource Officer not only is there to protect the children but knows them by name and is engaged with the children. I feel my child is getting the best overall learning possible and enjoying it at the same time.
