West Washington Jr-Sr High School

Our school is like a huge family. The teachers, administration, and staff truly care about the students. We are always working hard to do what is best for them. I don't think you could find a more caring group of educators anywhere.

West Washington is a great school, although the student body doesn't uphold all that the school's supposed to, such as being LGBT-friendly. There aren't many, but there are a few students that aren't friendly towards LGBT students. My only problem is that a decent amount of the student body uses terms such as "gay" and "homo" as insults, which is just plain rude as they were not insults to begin with. Other than that, West Washington Jr./Sr. High School is a wonderful educational facility with good opportunities for many.

West Washington is a great school. We have amazing technology for learning, great teachers, and students who are ready to learn. The food at our school isn't that great. On one side of the cafeteria, we have regular, more healthy food, and on the other side, people order the "Senator Burger," Arby's fries, and other less healthy food. Every other Friday, we eat Domino's Pizza. During lunch, we are allowed to go to the gymnasium to play basketball, walk, or socialize with our friends. Our school is considered "a bully free zone," which means bullying isn't permitted. If students don't complete their assignments, they can either get lunch detention or work release. Work release is one of the best things our school has created. It forces students with incomplete assignments to go to the cafeteria until their work is finished. This helps with their grades, so they don't automatically get an "F."

I think our school is very well set up. It has many challenges and things we can do for fun. There are a lot of freedoms. Then again there are also some discipline if you don't do what you told.
