Argos Community Jr-Sr High School

This is one of the greatest schools in the area. The small class sizes gives students better learning advantages over larger schools. This school offers so much hometown atmosphere. A place where everyone knows your name.

My wife and I both are from Argos and have been since childhood. The teacher to student ratio in the Argos School system is a top reason it's levels of education are high even compared to this areas other schools. K-12 all in one building. My graduating class was one of the smallest for some time at less than 45 for the class of 1992. Most if not all years are less than 100 per grade level.

Argos High School is a small town high school. Though it doesn't have the frills and tons of extra classes, they cover the foundation very well. Most teachers go above and beyond if a student is willing to work to achieve their best. I have 2 children, one that graduated and is in college, the other is in high school and I am very please with the education. Along with academics, the music department is wonderful and puts on some wonderful productions. Our Ag department is another area the school is strong in. Being a small school, it is sometimes hard to compete with the larger schools in athletics, but do the best. Its like a family at Argos.
