Albany Elementary School

Love it here. I’ve had all my children go through this school. Staff is amazing too

I have a daughter who is in Second grade at Albany Elementary. The staff and principle are wonderful. My daughter has been on the All A honor roll 1st grade and the A-B honor roll this year. It is a smaller school but the academics and staff make it a great school. The teachers are very dedicated and I have never had a problem with any of them. The principle Mr. Schmaltz knows all the kids by name and makes them feel accecpted and they are great on teaching the kids on what to do about bullying which I love.

My son is currently a first grader here and is progressing wonderfully! The small town atmosphere is such a plus. Every staff member, from the teachers to the janitors, greets him by name in the hallway. The PTO is phenomenal and provides outstanding activities for the children. As a parent, I am consistently informed of news and current events, as well as being contacted directly and asked to participate in school wide events and volunteer opportunities. Albany is a great place to be!!

Great elementary! Our two children have LOVED every teacher. They are very helpful and I've had a wonderful time helping out with parties, the carnival, in the classroom, etc. The low number of students per class is a definite plus!
