Read what parents are saying about Daniel Webster Middle School2019-2020 school year was a good year for my then 6th grader I have the same expectation for the 2020-2021 year for my now 7th grader and an incoming 6th grader. Best of luck to all the students, some kids have parents that are essential workers and must continue to work outside the home (my self included). This year will not be easy for anyone, so it's important we all do our part.

Posted by a community member on 1/23/2020This school is trash the staff do not care if someone is picking on your kid even if your kid is doing great and gets in a fight that he never started they won't care and punish both and to add on the person being picked on told the principle and they never took action so the bully picked on the kid and fight began.Morrow of the story don't send your kid to a bad environment if you want him or her to be safe.

I remember the staff being amazingly involved and students had many activities to be involved in such as the infamous snow ball dance. I had a very good education especially in the 2nd & 3rd grade. The new Principal/administrator for 2016-17 has made changes that are not in the best interest of the minorities who attend there. The previous principal was more in tune with the culture of the school, and she promoted diversity. My children were constantly bullied and nothing was done last year. In retaliation, she pulled my child into the office and questioned her about our private lives. She then tried to file a DCFS complaint against me, which was unfounded. She then attempted to have my family removed from a school event by the police because we inquired about the basis of the complaint. My children are traumatized and I would not recommend this school to anyone who does not promote diversity.Parent Review7y ago
