Overall, the schools are fine, but I’m surprised by how much emphasis is placed on i-Ready. It doesn’t truly measure a student’s abilities or subject knowledge. While I understand that some standardized tests, like the IAR, can serve a purpose, I’d honestly prefer to see those phased out as well.With i-Ready in particular, students spend too much time on computers and end up less engaged. I’ve seen bright students simply click through the lessons because they don’t care, while others become anxious and take it far too seriously. Instead of leaning so heavily on platforms like i-Ready, Salt Creek should focus more on directly engaging with students and giving attention where it’s most needed—especially since the student population is small. Less “homework” on i-Ready and more meaningful interaction would make a real difference.

An amazing school that feels like family! We couldn't be happier with St. Pius X; this Catholic school provides an exceptional, high-quality education rooted in classical learning, forming student not just academically as as well-rounded individuals. The small, safe environment allows my children, and every child attending, to be truly known - teachers and administrators greet students by name and genuinely care about their growth. If you're looking for an education that nurtures the whole child in a faith-filled, academically excellent setting, look no further! We are truly blessed to have such an amazing school in our neighborhood.

The place is so well-organized, making it a comfy and practical spot for kids from K to 12. They do a fantastic job blending regular subjects with Islamic teachings, giving students a great all-around education.
