This school allows bullying of children with autism. They will treat the child like they are the problem. They remove negative comments repeatedly but I will not stop warning other parents of the terrible experience we had at this school.
Posted by a parent on 8/31/2021Hanover Countryside is a great school and has supported both of my boys education. The teachers are engaged and caring. The staff is friendly and supportive. The PTO works with the school and we have great events and activities that support the school.

The current 6th grade class makes their teacher cry on a regular basis. The staff does not support the parents who actually stress over the fact that our kids aren't happy and their behavior shows. It's disappointing to hear that the rating got dropped from an 8 to a 5 out of 10. The change is principle has a big impact, with the previous principal being highly regarded compared to the current one. Inconsistencies in teaching quality is also contribute to a declining perception of the school. Two of my kids learned completely differentily in two years gap. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs someone who’s went to this school, the favoritism and discrimination of some kids is beyond horrible. The teachers are extremely lenient with punishments and do not handle bullying issues at all. I was one of few African American students and I was told multiple times that I only get picked for sports because I was black. I was also called the n word on numerous occasions and when I went to a teacher they did nothing about it and the student kept saying things to me.
