My son is a Junior and we absolutely love this school !!! A+ student ! A+ for school !!

I recommend this school highly. Our two sons attended and both were able to take AP and dual-credit classes that gave them more than 18 college credits that transferred to their chosen universities. Our counselors gave good advice (some of which we did not follow, sadly, to one child's detriment), and the dept heads were responsive when curriculum concerns came up. We were able to consult with counselors when navigating course selections each spring. Our kids did not have special needs so can't speak to this area. The marching band, orchestra and theater programs are top-notch and attracted many kids for the social aspect. The school promotes a "super fans" program which also is very popular and heightens school spirit. Students are given a wide range of sports to try out as freshmen, advancing after that as their skills allow. There are a lot of different clubs as well, such as Future Business Leaders, Debate Team, Math Team, Girls Who Code, Dance, Engineering, Gaming, International and Poetry, to name just a few. The VIP Boosters (equal to the PTA) was fortunate to have dedicated parent volunteers who organized a lot of fundraisers when our kids were in school, so modest college scholarships were also offered for seniors to apply for.

The school is a joke. My stepson has missed more school then actually being present yet they do nothing!!! A bunch of weak adults that teach kids that’s it’s alright not to have any type of responsibility. Not real life. What an embarrassment

Teachers are fighting an uphill battle in this school. Effective and caring leadership has been lacking for several years even with a new principal. You seldom (less than 5% each day) see any administrators walking the hallways, visiting classrooms, directly speaking to individuals - becoming immersed in the culture of the school. There is little honest communication among colleagues with a "see no evil, hear no evil" edge. This school has been decimated with no boundaries nor accountability for students to follow. There is a definite caste system at play that defies the appearances that this school and the district tries to show publicly. Parents UNITE!
