They are doing a lot to help my son, who has a speech delay. They work with special needs children and do a great job.

It's very hard to tell who is in charge, but it seems to be the school secretary, the headmaster's nephew, and the school counselor. None of those people is qualified to run a school. The nepotism in this school is appalling and should be reason #1 for staying away. They can't keep good teachers, and they can't get rid of bad teachers. Since we have been there, several excellent teachers have left and more are on the way. The academics are not challenging and are very watered down. This is probably due to the fact that most of their teachers do not seem certified or qualified. It also seems to be a school where parents send their children who have issues. My daughter had a hard time adjusting to school as a young Pre-Schooler during the pandemic. The teachers and teacher's aides made her feel so loved and comfortable coming in everyday. Mid-way through the year, she loved it so much, we enrolled her for 5 days/week. That was 4 years ago and the same teachers still give her hugs in the hallway when they see her. It warms our heart to see how much the teachers genuinely care for the children at OLW. The staff at OLW makes the school such a special place to be!Parent Review10mo ago
