White Swan Elementary School

Giving 4 stars because there is always room for improvement. I see that there are some negative reviews from a few years ago, however, under the current administration, I think things have changed significantly. There were some toxic people who are no longer there. The current principal is exceptional. She is motivating, understanding, compassionate and highly qualified. This school has had its ups and downs but with the current staff, I would not hesitate to recommend.

Our child has been attending MPA since the age of 3 and is now 11; We cannot even imagine sending her somewhere else! The teachers and staff are kind & very dedicated to their students. I love the peaceful environment, freedom of movement within the classroom, independent style of learning, combined ages & the sense of family the children share. There have been quite a few changes over the past 7 years and it's all been for the better!! We have always highly recommend MPA!

We were looking for a preschool for our daughter and came across Alpine Academy. Lucky for us we were able to get in for a tour and visit with Scott Dabson the schools Outreach Director he gave us a tour of the school and answered all of our questions and even helped assure us of possible concerns we might not have thought of. He has since checked in with us throughout the school year to ensure our daughter is happy and learning. He has made it clear that he truly cares about our daughters schooling and about our family. He has already become a valued friend of our family. Our daughters teacher Ms. Holmer is the most wonderful person and her aide Miss. Jody makes our daughter feel special each day. Overall our experience with Alpine Academy only continues to improve as we experience the beginning of our daughters education!

Alpine Academy is a great school! Perfect for our family. I'm a mom from a semi-small southern town where there is only one city school and one county school. Starting a family in Rockford and having to choose the right school for my children was an important and scary venture. Upon much research, my husband and I decided on Alpine Academy and have never regretted that decision! My two boys have attended since Pre-K 3 (going on 5 years now) and we have seen nothing but good things come to fruition. Highly recommended!
