probably one of the worst schools, you could be in so much pain and YOULL get in trouble and sent back to class, these people don’t care about your kids, they just want money.
Posted by a student on 8/14/2026Great school! So many wonderful teachers. There is a great amount of options available for students to be involved in sports, clubs and organizations. They focus on getting every student ready for their future (college, career or military).
Posted by a parent on 5/11/2021I loved it! Met some awesome friends that I hope I keep in contact with, the teachers I had were all great and helped when I was struggling and were all super kind. I took AP courses and Gen. Ed. courses my junior year and all the teachers (AP and Non-AP) were supportive and taught the class, they d

Posted by a community member on 10/9/2018the teachers don't really care about the students, mostly the principle. the only thing they care about is the reputation of the school.

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is our first year at Rockford Lutheran Academy, and we are extremely happy we made the change. The school academically is far above the others in the area. This was obvious from the first Maps test my daughter was given as a way for them to see where she was academically when registering. As a bonus, she was one of the kids who scored highest on her testing date and got a little scholarship. It wasn't much, but with private schools every dime helps. She is in 4th and tested into 5th grade reading and math and has had straight A's all year. Unfortunate that her prior school did nothing to challenge her. This school truly monitors the children's progress and if they need help, they get it and if they are advanced they get challenged. They also listen to your concerns when they arise and are a community (ie. not afraid of parents coming through their doors). Just wish we had made the change sooner!Parent Review4y ago - Holy Family Catholic School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe community is so amazing. All the parents are friendly and involved. The teachers are kind and keep a very open line of communication with parents. I feel very blessed to be sending 2 children here and feel very at home in our parish.Parent Review4y ago - Spectrum School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe Spectrum Community is based upon collaboration between everyone. I mean from the President to the Janitor, the parent to the grandparent, the child to the volunteer, everyone is brought together for the sole purpose of molding a mind into a lifelong lover of learning. Send your kids here, and they will become the best that they can be!Other Review4y ago - Christian Life Center School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageChristian Life Schools has become more than just a school for my family. The sense of community is unlike anything. When we first started, my child attended prek3 part time. Within 2 months, she was begging us to send her there full time. This fall will be our 4th year at CLS. The teachers and the staff make you feel like you are at home and their is an integration of the high school students and the elementary students. I always recommend CLS to friends looking for a private school for their child because I truly believe if it wasn’t for CLS our child would be a different child than she is today. She is kind, caring and loves Jesus so much.Parent Review2y ago - Rockford Lutheran School
