We have a 1st grader at the school and she has had an incredible experience there. I'm very pleased with her teachers (last year, she had a National Board-Certified kindergarten teacher!), the classes are small and there are kids from all kinds of families: both parents in the home, single parents, college-educated, working class, Christian, other, and all ethnicities. It is a delightful place where kids are kids and engaged in completely developmentally appropriate activities, since it's Preschool - 2nd grade. This is a gem of a little neighborhood school!

We absolutely love Alcuin. Our son has thrived in the Primary classroom, and our daughter is new to the Toddler class. Both children are happy and actually look forward to going to school! Since starting at Alcuin, my daughter has shown significant progress with her verbal skills and interest in potty training/toilet learning. It's only been a short time, but the difference in her is truly remarkable. For those considering a high-quality, Montessori education in a loving environment, look no further!

Grace has been a game changer for our family in every aspect! We feared our daughter switching schools in 7th grade as that can be a rough year with all the emotional changes and academics increasingly growing, however we couldn’t be happier with our decision. Our daughter has made amazing friends and everybody was extremely friendly and welcoming right away. She is also being challenged academically in ways we always wished for her. Our son started PK this year as well and I was skeptical as he has been home with me since birth, but Mrs. Brayton, Ms. GL and the rest of the staff have been outstanding, not only are they helping our son thrive academically but they care for him as though he is family. He absolutely loves being at school with his friends and the Grace staff. Everybody is extremely supportive, understanding and always available and willing to help in any way possible. They are also big on teaching independence and preparing our children for independent growth while never failing to make clear that there is always somebody available to help if needed. If you’re thinking Grace, DO IT, you won’t regret it for one second!
