Read what parents are saying about Sarah Atwater Denman Elementary Site 1No matter the test scores and the fact that this school is in a disadvantaged area, this is still a great school. The principal really cares and all of the teachers work hard for their students. The teachers go above and beyond to help their students, often providing food and clothing for them. We are eligible to go to another school but we want our girls to stay at Berrian because the teachers and staff are so great.
Posted by a parent on 8/1/2013Something has happened within the last 2 years at this school. My child feels like a number instead of a person. This school has failed to meet state standards for the last 2 years and has been declining in enrollment. The children are not prepared to enter into higher grades socially or academically. Communication has declined. It's as if they don't care about the students or parents, only to hit the numbers.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a current student and i believe this school is good. All the teachers are very nice and supportive of their students. It's really a great school. Everyone is very friendly, and there is no bullying at all. A few things i like about my school are the musicals, which occur once a year, and the great catholic education, which, in my opinion is the best in Quincy. There are many activities to participate in. There are many opportunities such as Scotties fun nights, and many fun field trips that give students education as well as entertainment.
