Walkers Grove Elementary School

Great experience overall with Grande Park Elementary. The staff is wonderful and welcoming. Students seem comfortable, safe, and happy to be in school. We have had great teachers who are very knowledgeable and kind.

The teachers do a good job engaging the children, and we appreciate the effort put into their learning experience. That said, there is room for improvement in a few areas. The recess play equipment could be enhanced, especially given the limited playground space, to better support active play. Additionally, pick-up and drop-off—particularly during the winter months—could be more streamlined, as traffic has increased with the growth of the surrounding community. Overall, it’s a good school, with opportunities to continue improving the overall experience for students and families.

We moved to Plainfield last year. Our son enjoys learning culture at Freedom elementary. Teachers are great and supportive. No complaints so far.

This is a very nice and new school facility but riddled with the problems that come with a new school. Lots of turnover in both teachers and Administration make it a constantly changing environment. The majority of teachers are new and lack any experience which shows up in the classroom.
