We moved to the district and we were nervous about it. We didn't know what it would be like in a larger city school - having move from a much smaller district. We could not be more pleased with Charter Oak. The teachers are very good. The principal is kind and thoughtful. Parents are involved. Best

Posted by a parent on 4/12/2024This school was incredible. Our oldest went here for K and 1st grade. When we went to buy a new home we intentionally wanted to stay in Charter Oak district. We had two children go through from K thru 4th and they had a GREAT experience. Leadership and teachers were great. Both of our kids had IEP's
Posted by a parent on 9/27/2018Charter Oak is a very bad school to have your child. The Blue Ribbon Award they have is NOT due to academic success but to poverty numbers !!!!!!!! Very bad organization and teachers seem not to care...

This is a great school that encourages parents to be active participants, celebrates diversity, and offers ample opportunities that other schools can't match with their after school programs.
