Koraes provides a loving environment for the children. The educational standard is high and individualized. Also, the children are receiving an amazing education in the Greek language and are growing up in their Orthodox faith. I recommend this school without reservation.

The zero hour math camp is legendary, as is the performance of the 8th graders on their high school entrance exams (and in high school, college, etc.). Our little one absolutely adores the preK-K-1st grade experience, too! This is a gem of a school in a friendly, tight-nit (but very normal!) community. Sr. Mary Kath did not teach my poor daughter anything about learning the fundimental needs of religious education. The occasional non witty and heartless jokes to her. Get a break nun, it’s not the 1930s where nuns can beat their children with a ruler on the wrist. You thought students took your BS and moved on, nope! You were all that was in their mouths. All of your students. My daughter also described her excessive use of the word “apparatus”. A real problem.. This school shocked and scared me and it is a relief of sorts that it closed. A real burden lifted off my shoulders, the good reviews must have been elementary school parents. Try Junior High, a whole new experience.Parent Review7y ago
