Read what parents are saying about Christian Hills SchoolI moved my kids to Christian Hills School in Orland Hills, IL in 2021 - during the pandemic, It’s the best thing I did for my kids! The Christian values and a great education are exceptional. My daughter was 6 months behind when we got to the school, but now she is doing amazing. And my son is doing excellent. From the teachers to the staff to the principle - they empower these kids and lift them up. At the awards ceremony they Recognize EVERY child with an award of some sort and makes that child feel important. From the staff making the parents feel welcome, to helping the kids with anything they need, The Christian Values, curriculum and support since we have been there has made our overall experience amazing. I highly recommend this school to anyone looking for an amazing Christian school for their child.
Posted by a parent on 2/28/2024Christian Hills School is a hidden gem! We felt a warm inviting atmosphere the moment we walked in the doors. CHS provides the children with a challenging curriculum and a strong Christian moral education that has surpassed our expectations. Our child is thriving in academics, knowledge of the Christian faith and growing Christ-like character which is exemplified by the staff and teachers. We are so thankful to have found Christian Hills!
Posted by a parent on 2/28/2024This school is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO bias like the only people that should only be in this school are kids who are related/know the teachers. The teaching is kinda boring and we learn barely anything unlike what a regular kid would learn in a public school. definitely would not reccommend. eh at least the parties are S tier.
Posted by a student on 1/15/2024I was looking for a school that reinforced the Christian principles being taught at home. We found that at Christian Hills. The teachers in the school make less than they could at a public school, but most stay because they view this as a calling. My children are expected to work hard, and they do, and are getting a fine Christian education. My only complaint is Christian Hills does not have a High School I could send them too.
Posted by a parent on 12/11/2021Christian Hills School is a great school. Each of my children are/have attending/attended the school, and those who've moved into public high school after graduating CHS have done fantastic. The school's level of education is great, their focus on character-centered teaching is a great, and their teachers are committed to seeing that the students succeed. Like EVERY school, it has it's imperfections, but the strong points outweigh it's weaknesses. It is NOT a school that provides for students that would require any type of IEP (unless the student's needs are very mild), and the school is very open about that at the onset of any initial interview. They do not have the budget or staff to service student with more complex issues. However, they do a fantastic job with under-performing students (those which have great capacity, but are under-performing for whatever reason). I'm very thankful for what this school has been for my children and would definitely recommend it.

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe resources at this school are absolutely amazing. The teachers and staff here go above and beyond to assist students and their families with the tools needed to succeed. The respect, understanding, and love just emanate from the community setting that is provided. The principal at this school is the best I have ever experienced. He is the perfect balance of nurture and discipline which is what every child needs. I appreciate everything this school has to offer. I am in my 6th year with students at this school.Parent Review3mo ago - Christa Mcauliffe School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have had terrific experiences with this school. They have gone above and beyond to find creative accomodations for my son's 504 plan. The counselor Miss. Campbell is outstanding and knows each of my kids personally. Mrs. Ryan in kindergarten taught each of my kids to love learning. You will be very happy with this school.Parent Review3y ago - Cardinal Joseph Bernardin Catholic School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have been a student of CJB for over 8 years. My brother has graduated from CJB and he had a very good experience at CJB but after he left it went a bit down hill. The education is no problem but the teachers and staff made the school go down hill. After the best principal left the school a new one came but he was a temporary replacement. Then we got another principal who was very strict she was mean and did hardly anything for the school. She said she would go on the roof if we raised enough money, she would spend the day on the roof. But she spent five minutes on the balcony of the school then went back to her office and we were all disappointed. She left the school in 2022-2023 school year and everyone was over the moon. Now for the 2023-2024 school year we have our vice principal as our principal now and she is the good principal and 10 times better then our 2022/2023 principal. I also want to thank CJB for all the good times I’ve had and I saw other reviews saying the Catholic education isn’t good but the Catholic education is outstanding at CJB. I have never learned so much about my faith before until now and I’m very proud and thrilled to spread the word of God with the world.Student Review4mo ago - Kindercare Learning Center
