Posted by a parent on 3/22/2022Extremely dedicated staff, diverse community where all thoughts are welcome, very involved parents and PTO, only school around that was able to deliver full in-person attendance in fall 2020 and beyond.
Posted by a parent on 6/8/2021Very low... I wouldn’t recommend buying a house here just to go to this school - but, most do. A lot come in from Naperville : better schools and lower taxes. It’s a win/ win! Live in a house - don’t do anything to it ( invest in it as an example ) and sell when children acclimate and sell

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOverall, the schools are fine, but I’m surprised by how much emphasis is placed on i-Ready. It doesn’t truly measure a student’s abilities or subject knowledge. While I understand that some standardized tests, like the IAR, can serve a purpose, I’d honestly prefer to see those phased out as well.With i-Ready in particular, students spend too much time on computers and end up less engaged. I’ve seen bright students simply click through the lessons because they don’t care, while others become anxious and take it far too seriously. Instead of leaning so heavily on platforms like i-Ready, Salt Creek should focus more on directly engaging with students and giving attention where it’s most needed—especially since the student population is small.
