8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter was bullied multiple times and nothing was done about it at one point she was bullied on the playground. A little boy pushed her down and got on top of her and was punching her and the school did nothing. The playground attendant was not watching. They were on their phones when this happened and they were too far away to even see it happening and with the playground being close to a road you think that they would not be able to be on their phones, but they are my daughter has told me that every day They went out to the playground the tenants were on their phone. It was supposed to be put in special school district because they wanted to test her for dyslexia never did they’re not good with communicatingAt one point, I was hospitalized after I had a miscarriage and they put her down as a unexcused absence why I was in the hospital after they told me that it would be an excused absence because my family members lived in St. Louis. No one was able to drive all the way down to take her to school. The front desk lady is very rude. She will have an attitude with you on the phone. I try to talk to the principal about it. He does not care and the school does not care about bowling either. If you let your child go to the school they will get bullied in the school will not do anything about it. My daughter was scared to go to school because of it and anytime she tried to tell her teacher when she was being bullied, her teacher would tell her that she was acting like a second grader in training. At that point, my daughter was too scared to even tell her teacher. Also when I came to her Teacher about the bullying and about the boy getting on top of her, she told me that my daughter does not have the right to fight back. The principal always says he’s gonna call you back and he does not. You have to call the office multiple times just to get a hold of him and even when you get a hold of him, he does not care. He shrugs it off like it’s not that big of a deal. My daughter has always loved school and when she started up at the school, she has cried every single morning about not wanting to go to school because she was being bullied that bad they like to put the fifth graders with the first graders sometimes at recess in the fifth graders would pick on the first graders And again the teacher did nothingParent Review1y ago13 Reviews - J Emmett Hinchcliffe Sr Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageStarted out with an OK experience for Pre-K and K, 1st has been a mess. There is a huge divide between students because of race and income, which has led to constant bullying and racial issues that are not addressed appropriately or effectively. Teachers talk down to the students and disregard the parents' and their concerns. Little to no communication from the teachers and administration. Don't bother calling to talk to the front desk, she will be rude and short with you like it's an inconvenience to be calling her. On more than one occasion I have witnessed teachers being rude, yelling at students, or just ignoring the students and allowing a free-for all environment, which leads to the numerous injuries and behavioral issues. Teachers will not put the education of the student as a priority and don't follow up with parents enough.Parent Review4y ago8 Reviews - Legacy Christian Academy

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis was my son's first year at Legacy Christian Academy. After searching the area and understanding the curriculum that different schools teach, I'm impressed. This school has a biblical way of learning. The faculty is loving and devoted. There is such an impact through learning in an environment that not only challenges you, but genuinely cares that you succeed.Parent Review1y ago4 Reviews - New Enterprise Academy
