Saint Andrew School is truly a gem in Murphysboro! As a Pre-K through 8th grade school, it provides a well-rounded education in a supportive and nurturing environment. One of the things I love most is that Spanish is offered at all grade levels, even in Pre-K, which is such a great opportunity for young learners. The teachers are dedicated and go above and beyond to help every student succeed. There’s even a resource classroom for students who need extra support, ensuring that no student is left behind.Beyond academics, Saint Andrew offers a variety of extracurricular activities, including physical education, multiple team sports like volleyball and basketball, a speech team, a yearly musical, and choir. There is truly something for every child to get involved in!Students do not need to be Catholic to attend—this school welcomes everyone and provides an affordable education with a strong sense of community. The teachers and staff genuinely care about the students, and it shows in everything they do. I attended Saint Andrew myself and knew there was no other place I’d rather send my children. My only regret? That there isn’t a high school to continue the amazing experience!

I am very proud to be a staff member of MCA. From the front office to the classrooms, it is all about the students and how we can help them become world changers. The ABeka curriculum is Christ centered. MCA student's standardized testing scores are consistently higher than the national average of both private and public schools. Every day my heart is filled with the joy of seeing children learning so much and enjoying it at the same time.
