Read what parents are saying about Mount Pulaski High SchoolLooking for a job at Mt. Pulaski? Do your homework. 1) Ask teachers are administration expectations communicated? When you have discipline/grade issues, will the principal/superintendent back you? If a student is a child of a board member, how does that impact their support? Do teachers respect, like, trust the principal/superintendent? 2) Do teachers have a good working relationship with the board? Are there members and their children you need to avoid because you will risk your job? 3) How many students were in the alternative school? Will you be held accountable for a failing students? 4) Has the school has been involved in litigation within the last 7 years? Why? 5) Do teachers like their jobs. Have they considered quitting? Do they feel the school is going in a generally positive or negative direction? Contact teachers in and out of your department. You will need/want an unfiltered assessment before you make a decision, so try to speak privately. Consider contacting the prior teacher. Good luck!

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI think Mt. Pulaski Elementary School is a great school. We have a safe, clean environment, with dedicated staff who really care about the kids. We offer a variety of programs and sports, and fairly small class sizes.Teacher Review13y ago - Zion Lutheran Grade School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI love Zion. The teachers there go above and beyond their regular 8 hour day in time and energy. They show a lot of movies, but they also are good at judging when their kids are tired and need a break. They have an excellent Easter and Christmas program with the focus on Christ (not Santa or the Easter Bunny). It is a small school with a small teacher/student ratio. Everyone feels accepted. Students with needs and disabilities receive the extra help needed. They use positive reinforcement. Students have to earn their grades and rewards (much like real life). If anyone feels differently, they need to discuss their concerns with the staff. They are very open, helpful, and pleasant to work with.Teacher Review13y ago
