Read what parents are saying about Marengo Community Middle SchoolThis is a poorly run school. In general, bullies are tolerated in all of the Marengo schools. The attitude of the Administration is that Parents exist to "SERVE" and "PAY" for the schools and the high salaries and entitlements. The children are a by-product of the relationship. The problem is the school boards. I would tell anyone to send their child to a private school. The administrators gang up on parents who comp[lain and then take it out on the student.

Posted by a parent on 4/17/2022Both of our children have been bullied severely. When they reported it NOTHING ! was done about it. Name were given and nothing was done. This seems to be an issue at this school. My kids are not the only ones that have had issues with this. If you arent born and raised here you dont fly. Get the bullyng under control and you can have a nice place to be.

Communication is very clear from the building. Even through the pandemic, the staff of Locust did an amazing job maintaining a positive learning environment. They allow bullying and refuse to lift a finger to help students. The school isn’t even worth $1 let alone the almost $5000 they demand. Enrollment here has severely dropped when enrollment in private schools across the country has risen. That’s the first red flag.Parent Review1y ago
