Horrible school specially the front desk they don't care for you kid they care only for calling cops for you child because he/she do something like normal kids do and after that they don't call parents to discuss the problem or follow with them No support for this school matter what Idiots old women are working in front desk

Willow Springs Elementary is a great school. The office staff is extremely helpful and friendly.The teachers are very willing to work with student and do a great job of making sure their students are understanding things.The school offers parents to drop off/pick up students or bus transportation.They have lots of rescources for speech, physical and occupational.Lots of fun activities during school days and outside of school days.Overall great school!

Best school in the area hands down. I see previous old reviews of principal not being good, well this current principal is great, nothing like the old reviews. Teachers are for the most part great and comunicate with parents effectively. Only had one person give issues but after addressed to the principal have had no further issues. More is being offered at the school regarding activities and early start to doors being open earlier. Overall great school with great people especially for a city school. Overall great staff at this school.

My 7 and 9 year olds have gone to this school for 3 and 4 years respectively. They love Universal so much, they refuse to even consider any other school. The teachers care for their students immensely and work well with us as parents to guide our children and bring the best out of them. My son has attention issues but is very smart. Every year I connect with his teachers to let them know how to keep him engaged and each one has listened and communicated with me throughout the year. Beyond the children's experience, I love that it's a school that continues to better its curriculum. Teacher are encouraged to continue learning and try new innovative techniques. Universal is not for everyone, however. It is academically rigorous and they do not have the resources to rise a child up to standard they have set. If a child is academically gifted, they will thrive at Universal, but it they are not, unfortunately, they might struggle here. That said, there are times where we have considered whether Universal is able to support gifted students, and while the teachers are highly engaged and willing to further a student's learning, a gifted student can get lazy here and fall back if not supplementing with external academic programs.While the school is an Islamic and Arab environment, it is not a masjid, in that things do happen at the school that are unislamic behavior. Kids will make mistakes, and while the administration will reprimand what they know of, a lot happens that may be surprising for some sending their kids to Universal for the Islamic environment. Finally, the school's Arabic program from K-1st grade is excellent along with the Quran carriers Memorization program. After students begin 2nd grade, however, Arabic really goes down. All in all I always highly recommend Universal with the disclaimer that it is not for everyone, and you have to stay engaged and communicate clearly with teachers to get the most out of the experience.

As a parishioner and parent of two St. Patricia alumni, I see the positive effects play out daily. I can't help but believe the quality faith based education provided by St. Patricia has instilled and inspired our two adult sons to live a well rounded life.
