Posted by a parent on 6/9/2024My child attended school here from 1st-5th grade. I absolutely loved how they were so attentive to my child. If he was struggling with anything from emotions to homework, they would step in and help immediately. My child and I were treated like family. The staff in the office are phenomenal women!!

The homework requirement here is higher than you'll find in most public schools; however, the pay-off is that your children will be ready for college and prepared for the workload that college brings with it. It's disappointing to hear that the rating got dropped from an 8 to a 5 out of 10. The change is principle has a big impact, with the previous principal being highly regarded compared to the current one. Inconsistencies in teaching quality is also contribute to a declining perception of the school. Two of my kids learned completely differentily in two years gap. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSummit Academy is an excellent school. We started when my child was only 2.5. She will be be in 7th grade there next year! We also have 2 other children attending Summit. The children are evaluated and place according to their abilities. They are challenged but have fun doing the work. The cost is a bit mind boggling at times, but when you realize your children only have one chance to learn ~ there is nothing better than Summit. The opportunities given our children are endless.
