Two stars because some of the teachers and staff are genuinely kind and caring, and there are individuals who clearly want the best for students.However, prospective families may want to look closely at enrollment patterns. The school tends to have full Pre-K and Kindergarten classes, but enrollment noticeably decreases as students move into the upper grades, and many families choose to leave as their children get older.In our experience, interactions with school leadership were often marked by dismissive, rude, or disrespectful communication toward both parents and students. When concerns about these interactions were raised, there did not appear to be meaningful accountability or willingness to reflect on the impact of that behavior.While the school promotes the idea of a close “school family” culture, that was not the experience for many of the families we encountered during our time there, and it seems to contribute to why so many families eventually choose to leave.We were part of the school community and ultimately decided to transfer our children. What has been most surprising since leaving is how many parents and community members have shared similar experiences once the topic comes up.I only wish we had understood the broader pattern sooner.
