Posted by a parent on 2/26/2013Galena High School has 13 Illinois State Scholars this year! I continue to be impressed by this school, and my children have had a top notch education here. Two have gone on to earn their Bachelor and master degrees, and agree that GHS was instrumental in their success at college.

Posted by a parent on 12/3/2010With only 30% of students prepared for a 4 year college, a high teen pregnancy rate and a lack of new technology training this is not a great school. If you have to live in Galena and have high school age students, think private school.
