We moved our kids in the middle of the school year to ASJA last year from D65. It's been a wonderful transition. The school provides structure, strong academics, excellent teachers with tenure, Diversity!!, lots of extra curriculars for a small school, small class sizes, excelled classes for advanced students and supports for those who need additional help. The school is truly a community with major caregiver and community support. You don't feel like you are the only one volunteering for everything. The community is very supportive and the children are taught to be loving and helpful to their peers. I wish I had known about it sooner - it's not the traditional underfunded Catholic Institution of yesteryear.

We could not be happier with the small school environment that fosters student education and character.

Our experience has been terrific. Our kids are thriving well, challenged academically and becoming really good little people which is an important - and sometimes overlooked - role of the school experience. They are building confidence and compassion in addition to being challenged academically. It's been a really good fit for our family and I'm happy for them to have this experience for their K-8 years.

We have loved the way Saint Joan of Arc has nuturned our young students. They have developed lifelong learning skills as well as tools to be caring and compassionate for others.

Saint Joan of Arc School has been a tremendous blessing to my entire family. In an addition to being a Blue Ribbon award winning school with high academic standards, it is a nurturing community that functions like a big family. I have three children currently enrolled, from preschool to 5th grade and they are all thriving. I attribute this to the small classroom sizes that ensure that each child's unique needs are met.It also means that every child has an opportunity to participate in the diverse range of school activities from our progressive science program to our traditional sports teams. I also greatly appreciate that SJA is focused on growing "the whole child" and that equal emphasis is placed on academics, spirituality and values, physical activity, all with plenty of time to explore, play and grow friendships. Go Saints!
