Queen Of The Rosary School

This is not the same school that was 3-4 years ago. They still have decent teachers and provide good, catholic education however this school changed dramatically over the past years. There is a group of parents that have been active with school over thebhears and they feel like they own it and thr principal goes along with it. You either dance as that group of parents plays, or your child will be an outsider. Bullying is not properly addressed and it is acceptable. Children are being discriminated and treated differently if not "one of the group". More and more parents are deciding to move kids to other schools because of the situation at QR.

Being a public school teacher I am beyond happy with my decision to put my children at Queen of the Rosary. The education they are receiving far exceeds my expectations. The care and attention they have received from every teacher goes well above and beyond what they would get at a public school. The entire school community has become like a family to us with everyone looking out for all our children. As a parent you are going to get out what you put in. If you don't want to volunteer and stay secluded then no matter how much the school community tries to include you you will never feel it. This school is such a wonderful experience for children and families that get involved make it so much better for everyone!

My 5 year old came home telling me about a man in the Bible who hung himself from tree. Ummmm hello? Just because a story exists in the Bible doesn’t make it ok for children. Pull my child out so fast.

I would of given them 5 stars across the board until the day my daughter Suffered an injury to the head and I was never notified. Not only was I never notified they didn’t give my daughter any medical attention. Later finding out my daughter suffered a concussion. I am just shocked that they would let this go untreated. Also, I am shocked at the lack of care they put in for my daughter and my family. Sending your child here could be a potential risk. My daughter was 4 and she was neglected. That is all I am going to say on the matter. Just be careful. Also make sure to request a tour of the grounds before sending your Child there. I was never invited for a tour or saw my daughters classroom. They have cliches and they all stick together. If you don’t donate and volunteer your child may be treated like they don’t matter. I am ashamed that I had put my faith in this school and got let down. After this incident no one including the Father of the parish has tried to reach out to check on my daughter and family. It’s a shame how such a reputable church and school handled a situation so terribly wrong. Proceed with caution when spending 7,000 a year here.

If you’re the type to flaunt your wealth and donate extra money to the church or school, they will love you here and your kids will get preferential treatment, extra attention, and a good education. If you don’t play the catholic game and don’t participate in fundraising, your kids will quite literally be ignored, and verbally and emotionally abused. In our case, our child was even shoved by his teacher. Cannot believe the money and years we wasted here, not to mention the trauma it caused. We enrolled into public school after leaving and our kids are noticeably happier and have a much better relationship with academics as they are no longer shamed if they don’t do well on a test or quiz.
