My kids lives were destroyed because of this school. I have not one good thing to say about this school they run solely on greed, power and ego. Their school nurses think they are doctors and base their demands to parents based on no common sense or actual degree in medicine. They don’t look at court documents they just go by which parent is the better liar. I highly recommend home schooling.

St. Thomas children have always been taught so much throughout their course of being in the school. Many kids who graduate from this school are recognized for their academic ability later in life. The school also has a higher grading scale, therefore pushing the kids to try harder. Bullying is discussed a few times every year. Technology has improved, with buying all new iPads and computers for the kids to use in the technology lab. There, they teach how to use important and necessary websites for when they grow up, such as OpenOffice.com and how to make PowerPoint presentations. The younger children are able to learn cursive which is not taught anymore, and is a cool thing to learn! 4th graders and up are given lockers to keep their stuff, although you do not get a combination lock or privileges of decorating them until 6th grade. The teachers care about your problems and that you complete your homework in time. Although this school is focused on academics, they have their fun days. They watch movies in class, and have festivals and fun opportunities for the children. Field Day has always been one of my favorite things. Staff in st. Thomas has definitely lowered, but no matter what we have amazing teachers who do want to be there. I understand it can be challenging for a parent to understand, especially if their child doesn’t want to go to the school anymore, they could be expressing fake “details” about the school only to leave. The rules of St.Thomas are strict but necessary. Dress code wise, they keep girls modest and from showing too much skin or being inappropriate. In my opinion, uniforms are helpful. I don’t have to wake up and look for something new to wear even if I want to impress somebody. Everybody wears the same thing and is modest doing it.

Immanuel is an amazing place for our kids to grow in their faith and learn. The teachers, students and parents are a family. The teachers foster a loving, caring and supportive environment. We are thankful that our kids are learning God's Word at the same time they are receiving a great education.
