Posted by a parent on 2/25/2026I've had 3 kids go through Serena Hills. The teachers are great, the office staff are wonderful. There were some rough years with the administration but they seem to have gotten great leaders in the last few years.
Posted by a parent on 8/2/2025In truth, we were better off with the other managers. Those who are there are hesitant in their positioning and are difficult to reason with. They lean towards modern ideas and do not take into account different cultures, races, ethnicities, and not to mention conservatism.

Some teachers care and take the time to get to know their students more than surface level and understand their learning needs. Others look to dismiss students who need additional support or more challenging assignments to better help them excel. Looking to help the students grow in all areas is key. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter has been attending St. Pauls Chicago Heights since the beginning of this school year. Im very pleased with the education she is receiving and the commitment of the staff to provide a loving, Christian environment for our children to grow in. The school is small so the teacher to student ratios are low. When I have volunteered at the school during lunch and recess, I have not witnessed any overly aggressive or cruel behavior amongst the children. My daughter has expressed to me that she feels safe in the school, which was an issue at the last public school she attended. She finds the curriculum to be challenging, yet interesting, and her young teacher does a great job keeping her interested. With the tuition being more affordable than most private schools in the area, it doesnt make sense for me to have her in any other school.
