As a mother of three kids who attend St. Stanislaus Kostka School, I couldn't be happier with the educational experience they are receiving. As a parent of both an 8th grader and a 6th grader, I’ve had the opportunity to experience this school across multiple stages, and it’s been a genuinely positive journey for our family. What stands out most is how intentionally each child is known and supported, not just academically, but as a whole person. Our children have been consistently seen, challenged, and encouraged in ways that have helped them grow in confidence and independence.The world is changing rapidly and looks very different from when we first chose this school years ago. Preparing students to adapt, think critically, and approach problems with flexibility feels more important than ever, and this school leans into that in meaningful ways.The faculty strike a thoughtful balance between high expectations and strong support. There is clear academic rigor, but it never comes at the expense of student well-being. Teachers are engaged, responsive, and genuinely invested in their students.We’ve also deeply appreciated the sense of community here, it’s something special. Families, faculty, and students create an environment that feels welcoming, connected, and supportive.Most importantly, we feel our children are truly prepared for high school and beyond. They know how to advocate for themselves, think independently, collaborate effectively, and take thoughtful risk, skills that will serve them well wherever they go next.

Bennett’s administration frequently failed to communicate effectively. They neglected to inform us when initial problems with our son began, leaving us unaware until situations escalated. School leaned into the behavior concerns and did not see the connection between behavior and academic challenges. In one instance, she called to discuss my son's challenges while he was in the room, ignoring the privacy and sensitivity of the matter.School recommended we have our son tested, because they did not know what more they could do and ‘maybe’ medication was an option. So, yes we had our son tested and learned he has an IQ is in the gifted range and a reading disability. He is a 3rd graders with 1st grade reading skills. Thanks to CPS, he has access to a special education teacher, and in-class support to ensure he can fully participate. Bennet is a great option if your kid does not need support. If you kid needs help, school administration becomes passive aggressive till you leave.
